About Seville

Seville, the capital of Andalusia, is one of the most vibrant and culturally rich cities in southern Europe. Known for its warm climate, historical heritage, and welcoming atmosphere, Seville provides an exceptional backdrop for international academic gatherings.

The city is home to three UNESCO World Heritage monuments:

  • Catedral de Sevilla

  • Real Alcázar de Sevilla

  • Archivo de Indias

Beyond its monuments, Seville is famous for its lively plazas, traditional tapas, flamenco music, and scenic walks along the Guadalquivir River.

Early September is an ideal time to visit: long daylight hours, vibrant street life, and a relaxed yet dynamic atmosphere make the city particularly enjoyable for international visitors.

Climate

Early September in Seville typically features warm summer temperatures. Daytime temperatures usually range between 28°C and 35°C (82°F–95°F). We recommend light clothing for daytime activities and comfortable attire for evening events.

All conference facilities will be air-conditioned.
